About us and how we got here

"Welcome to www.LightsOn.co.nz. Since 1994, in one way or another, I have been involved in lighting in New Zealand. As a lighting retail manager and buyer, I became aware of how fashion trends can influence the industry. In 1998 I set up an independent consulting company to concentrate on preparing residential and retail lighting plans and supplying products to electricians, property developers, home builders and architects.

We have now taken the business online. Our commitment to customer service, and supplying quality products at competitive prices remains unchanged. An excellent delivery service to an address of your choice adds to the convenience of ordering online. And we are committed to the industry. Recently completed by employees - Stage 5 Illumination Engineering Examination NZQA.
